The Data Analyst Intern will report to the Student Services Director and work closely with the Udacity Marketing, Services and Engineering Teams for a internship owning and contributing to several projects! You’ll learn how to provide rigorous data analysis to help shape and optimize our student acquisition funnel and our Nanodegree programs.
Build dashboards and tools that provide insight around key metrics for our Marketing and Student Services teams, including enrollments, engagement, leading indicators, and more.
Ad hoc analysis and data modeling to understand and predict behavior trends, in order to optimize growth and engagement
Provide organizational support to ensure data integrity, consistent data definitions, and efficient data storage.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members including product managers, and other software engineers to deliver compelling products/services
A current college student in engineering, computer science, applied math, statistics, or related technical field
Strong attention to detail
Ability to take direction and feedback, but also work independently as needed
Experience with at least one scripting language (e.g. Python)
Experience with at least one statistical software package (e.g. R, Pandas)
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience with Udacity free courses or Nanodegree programs is a plus
